Mary Hemingway, a foreign correspondent for Time and Life magazines during World War II and the widow of Ernest Hemingway, died early Wednesday morning at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Archives | In 1937 she went to London for The Daily Express, then joined Time and Life magazines in 1940. Despite the fact that Ernest Hemingway and Mark Hemingway both have a similar last name and were incredible scholars, they are not related.
